Where it began

A Simple Idea

When Massimo moved to the UAE in 2007, he discovered a vibrant and fast-growing food scene. But something was missing.

There were luxury restaurants, fine dining venues and international chains, yet it was difficult to find the kind of authentic Italian place where people could simply enjoy good food, bring their families, and return again and again.

In 2013, Massimo decided to create that place. His vision was never to build a fine dining restaurant – it was to create a welcoming Italian dining experience inspired by the food people enjoy every day in Italy: honest recipes, quality ingredients, generous hospitality and fair value.

A Passion You Can Taste

One of Massimo’s greatest passions became artisan gelato. Through years of study, specialised training and continuous collaboration with some of Italy’s most respected professionals, he developed what many guests today consider among the finest gelato in the UAE.
